Scoring Penalties:
A penalty of 1 point from each judge will be given for any of the following reasons:
- A routine exceeds the time limit.
- Any tap sounds added into the music.
- Any numbers dancing out of order due to the lateness of a dancer.
- Videotaping or photographing of any dances by family members or member of the studio.
- Use of acrobatic tricks in unauthorized categories.
- Inappropriate costumes, use of props, or anything that judges or audience member may feel is inappropriate for general viewing.
- Use of lyrics in any ballet routine.
